Married to his beautiful bride since 2012, David and his wife have two incredible daughters, Elsie and Willow, and a black lab named Goose. As a husband and dad, David gets to share his love of sports with all three of his girls – whether they’re watching Sunday night football or dribbling a soccer ball in the yard, it’s always a whole family affair. On weekends (and sometimes even weeknights), he trades his computer and building tools for an apron and grilling utensils and parks himself at his Traeger Grill, where he smokes just about any and every cut of meat imaginable. He’ll cook for anyone who loves to eat, so don’t hesitate to ask what’s on the menu next time you’re at the showroom ; )

He began his college education at Oakland Community College, but quickly realized a classroom was not where he was meant to be. In 2006, David and his wife moved to Arizona to help build a family-owned kitchen and bath company from the ground up. There, he was the primary designer and installer for thousands of kitchens and gained hours upon hours of hands-on experience. In 2017, they moved back to Michigan, where he assisted in building another kitchen and bath showroom – you guessed it, Authentic Kitchen & Design!
